Salt & Light Radio selected Broadcast Electronics AM1A and AM10A transmitters for their radio stations in greater Bosie Idaho.
“Salt & Light operates noncommercial listener-supported Catholic Radio services across Idaho providing programming in English and Spanish languages,” said Thomas Lowther, Director of Engineering at Salt & Light Radio. “KGEM operates with 10kW on 1140kHz and carries our English language network, and KCID operates with 1kW on 1490kHz and delivers our Spanish language programming.”
“We installed the new Broadcast Electronics AM1A at KCID recently.” Lowther continued “This turned out to be an extremely easy installation – the smoothest I’ve ever had! I had another engineer working with me, and he agreed with me on this. The BE team included everything we needed to get up and running. The parts kit had it all. The transmitter sounds great on the air, and we are very happy!”
