First Commercial HD Radio FM in Bangladesh Signs On Using BE RF and Studio Equipment

 

 

On January 1, Dhaka FM powered up a new Broadcast Electronics (BE) FM 10S transmitter and began broadcasting on 90.4 MHz, ringing in the new year as the first FM station to broadcast in HD Radio™ in Bangladesh. Present at the inaugural event were Minister for Information and Cultural Affairs Abul Kalam Azad, Secretary of Ministry of Information Hedayetullah Al Mamoon, and Brig General Ahsan Habib, the director general of Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission.
